Anne Herbison
Born in the United Kingdom-Northern Ireland. Young children naturally respond to Anne’s natural charisma, loving nature, and joy of life.
As a Paediatric Nurse I have been able to adapt my nursing skills to a daycare setting. I recognize the importance of nurturing in the early formative years of a child’s development.
Promoting self- esteem and encouraging children to express themselves helps a child feel a sense of belonging and trust. Being sensitive to the needs of others & recognizing the importance of communication, I try daily to visit with each group for a chat and a cuddle.
One unique aspect of Weefolk, is the variety of toys. Our toys not only promote cognitive and fine and gross motor skills but as well encourage imagination. I am always looking for new ones!!
I truly take my responsibility seriously. To me it is more than a job. It is my life.

I am highly motivated and genuinely caring. I know that each child is a true and priceless gift.
Having worked as nurse in a newborn nursery, a northern hospital and a special care unit has provided me with experience and assessment skills. I put this knowledge to use by understanding the role of early stages of growth and development.
Nutrition is very important to me and necessary for a child to grow and learn. I personally fill the role of meal planning and preparation.
My own experience with three sons, and a Grandma of two has helped me have a better understanding of children.
Music plays a huge role in the positive outlook of children and provides a calming atmosphere. Weefolk has a central sound system with fun and inspiring music playing during the day As well as music, I have personally selected the numerous books that are read daily. Books are an integral part of the learning experience. Topics are varied and change with seasons, special occasions and life lessons and experiences. Even our infants have a multitude of cloth and board books. I truly believe that my experiences are a unique asset to Weefolk.
